Supplemental Medical Insurance

Supplemental medical plans are intended to enhance your medical plan and to help protect you from significant expenses not covered by your medical plan. For example, if you are enrolled in an HDHP you have higher deductible and coinsurance amounts. A supplemental medical plan can help cover a portion of these potential medical expenses. Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in a supplemental medical plan during the first 30 days of employment. This coverage is also available to your eligible dependents when you enroll. Coverage becomes effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment. These plans are with Allstate.
